Capture Your Keepsakes

Keepsakes. Treasures. Heirlooms.

They are all a part of Your Family’s Story. But sometimes you’re not sure what to do with them. And sometimes you just don’t have the space to keep them, but you still want to Honor them. It’s hard to find Joy in an object that is buried in a box.

  • Childhood Treasures

  • A Special Relationship Memory

  • A Curio Cabinet full of Family History Heirlooms.

  • A Gift for Someone you Love

  • Items you want to Remember and Enjoy but don’t want to physically keep anymore.

I’d love to work with you to photograph your Keepsakes and create an Archivally Printed Hardcover Album, a Framed Art Photo Print or a Framed Art Canvas. Let’s connect and honor your keepsakes.

The Japan Jacket

Tricia was born in Japan on a US Military base. When her family left, her mother ordered this sweet little jacket for Tricia to wear as a toddler. Her mom also ordered a matching jacket for herself. This keepsake garment has been in Tricia’s possesion since her mother passed away. Tricia was always looking for a way to honor the memory and be able to display both sides of the jacket. We photographed each side individually and printed out two 16x20 prints for her to display and love.

Share Your Concert Story

Remember ticket stubs? Specifically a loved collection of tickets from Soul Asylum concerts going back to 1992 at the historic First Avenue and other Twin cities venues.

Archivally printed as an 14x11 size.

“I LOVED ice skating. I started when I was probably about 4 years old. We had a skating club in town and I took every class I could. Everytime I completed a USFSA skills program, my mom sewed another patch on the back of my skating jacket. I couldn’t wait to get out on the ice and show off those patches.”

“I discovered my childhood tap shoes at the bottom of a box and although I didn’t want to keep them, I knew I wanted to have a memory of them. They make me want to do a happy dance every time I look at them.”

“When I was a kid, this was the phone that sat on my grandmother’s kitchen counter. My sister and I used to pretend it was the Bat-Phone. We’d get in trouble every now and again for dialing random numbers and seeing if we would reach Batman.”

Art Album Collection

Albums are the perfect solution for a multi-item collection.

  • A collection of all those memories of your relationship (movie stubs, mix tapes, that sweatshirt you always wore of his) Time to get it all out of the shoe box and into an album to enjoy.

  • Your parents are moving out of their home. They don’t have room for all those great nick-nacks you all remember so well and want to split them up with all the kids, but no one can agree on which ones. Now everyone can have a copy of those memories without taking up the space.

  • A collection of your kids belongings from when they were young. (lovies, blankies, favorite toy, that tattered book they asked you to read every night)

How does this work?

  • Hi! Here’s how it works.

    1) Ship or drop off your Keepsake to our Minneapolis studio. (We also have local pickup and delivery options!)

    2) We will photograph it and email you a proof for you to approve.

    3) We then print and frame and return your keepsake with your new artwork!

  • Can I get just an Art Print with no frame?

    Absolutely!

    We can definitely discuss that!

Though….something to think about: I don’t want that print to end up back in the closet or in a box in the basement. I want you to have an art piece ready to hang the day you receive it. So let’s discuss the framing plan you have in place.

I want to order an Art Collection Album. How many keepsakes can I have in it?

The albums are 10x10 and the minimum pages are 20 pages (10 spreads). You can put 10-20 keepsakes into an album. If you have more than 20, we can do that too. Contact me for a quote.

How and when do I pay?

My preference is Venmo. But local current clients in Minneapolis can pay with a check. Payment is due when you drop off your item. If we pick up locally, it is due when we pick up. Shippers will pay when the item is received at our studio.

What kind of frames do you have?

The frames I offer are all wood frames. Simple, clean lines in black, white and natural. Art prints are mounted on board, protected with glass. Canvas Art are UV spray protected and framed in a wood floater frame.

Can I have more than one keepsake in a photo?

Absolutely! Let me know what you have and I can give you a quote.

  • It all started several years ago. I received 5 boxes of STUFF from my childhood home. I didn’t know what to do with it. I knew I didn’t want it. Yet, I wasn’t sure I could get rid of it. So the boxes sat in my basement for two years until one day, watching that TV show where peoples belongings start to take over their homes, I had a wonderful idea. Photograph it. Enjoy it as artwork on my walls. Stop hiding in a box. And by honoring these items, I was able to let them all go.
